You can – and should - work with your local Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center to spec the right tire for wintertime driving. Tire treads – specifically, how different tread designs can impact your tire performance – will be a key part of that conversation.
For example, using tires with an aggressive drive-axle tread pattern can be desirable for single drive-axle tractors and straight trucks. A tread pattern with lots of lugs can dig into snow and offer excellent traction.
